To ensure proper shielding, choose a switch card with shielded connectors, such as coax or triax connectors. Switch cards with coax or triax connectors are inherently shielded and will generally provide good isolation from channel to chan nel. Cards with screw terminals or mass-terminated connectors are not as well shielded, so they are generally not useful for switching high impedance circuits.
