We are all, at our cores, the sum of our fears. To embrace destiny, we must inevitably face those fears and conquer them. Whether they come from the familiar or the unknown.
Because of our troops and civilians -- and because of the resilience of the Iraqi people -- Iraq has the opportunity toembrace a new destiny, even though many challenges remain.
The challenge is to get not only Mexican Americans but American society as a whole toembrace a sense of shared responsibility and destiny in our part of the world, our continental neighborhood.
