abstract:Thuwal (Arabic: ثول ) is a village belonging to the governorate of Jeddah in the Makkah Province of Saudi Arabia 80 kilometers north of Jeddah on the coast of the Red Sea. Thuwal had long been a fishing center until the Royal Saudi Navy re-constructed the village.
Celebrating Open Access week, on October 2009, KAUST Library at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Thuwal, celebrated the Open Access week.
