With TEOS as the source of silicon, isopropanol as solvent, ammonia as catalyst, through wet chemical methods, natural graphite flake is coated with a surface layer of continuous, dense silicon dioxide. This paper discusses the influence of liquid adding rate, temperature holding time, flake treating manner and temperature on cladding rate. Orthogonal experiment is used to determine the optimal process conditions.
