It he raised his shield, but felt it land at his feet, and charged. Another arrow came toward him, and he tried to catch it on his shield, but it buried itself in his side. Angrily, he attacked the closest archer, a woman in green shirt and pants, lined with white fur. He slit her throat and kicked her aside, but another arrow caught him in the ribs.
