The Sirens refused water, any kind of water at all. Their goal was to get as many humans as us, and in the end when we were battling, over take us. If they won, all the water everywhere would disapear. Something that didn't seem like such a big deal, really was. Without water, nothing could live. They had list like we did. Their number ones on their list would hurt us the most in battle, and vise versa for us. So the rule was that if a mermaid chose a number one, and then switched, the number one for the mermaids switched over to the Sirens. That was a deadly threat in battle.
