Officials at theRoyalArmouries International events centre in Leeds have confirmed they will rename their Savile's Hall site, named in honour of the late presenter, "out of respect" for public opinion.
Other sites such as theRoyalArmouries in Leeds and the Earth Centre in Doncaster which have struggled to reach visitor targets have had to modify aspects of their businesses to attract the crowds.
This exhibition, which has, in addition, brought together objects from Dresden, Milan, Vienna and theRoyalArmouries, also includes an array of richly illustrated and scientifically sophisticated fencing manuals on long-term loan from the library of Lord Howard de Walden.
