Like the outcasts many no doubt were in high school, high-power rocketeers seem to derive a certain inner strength from the persecution they endure, nowadays at the hands of the Federal Aviation Administration, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and other killjoy agencies looking to rain on their exploding parade.
