Politicians usually become infatuated with Hollywood only when they have to disguise failed policies with star power: the decline of the Clinton presidency can be dated from the time when the celebrities started outnumbering the Ivy League professors at White House dinners.
In response to these recommendations, on June 7th the White House hosted a convening of 120 college Presidents, chaplains, religion professors and student service groups to discuss scaling interfaith and community service on college and university campuses.
Our local universities are breaking ground for new facilities to house tenured professors who love using 10-year-old case studies to predict the future.
