The wolf couldn't decide who to watch. Panic flooded through its system, freezing it to the spot. Some Alpha, the human side muttered. In one quick moment, Murphy stepped forward and slashed the wolf's neck open with the knife. Warm, blackish-red blood erupted from the wolf's neck and it slowly started its transition back to human. It took mere seconds and it clutched its throat with claws that were slowly becoming human hands. Murphy joined Conner on the back side of the creature before them, dropped his knife and drew his gun.
