TheHSBCChampions, which brings together the winners of the highest-ranked tournaments from all over the world, will be held at the Sheshan International Golf Club from Thursday until Sunday.
Wilson, 28, has finished runner-up on the Tour on no less that eight occasions since becoming a professional in 2005, most recently losing out in a play-off to Sergio Garcia at theHSBCChampions.
The Swindon star, who turned pro in 1995, won his first event in 1999 and last triumphed at theHSBCChampions tournament in Shanghai last November when he held off Tiger Woods over the closing holes.
