Dr Sheridon has come up with a so-called wand an electronic stick that can hold ten full-size books and also transfer text on to a sheet of Gyricon if a user runs the wand over the surface like a handheld scanner.
Electronicbooks are smaller, cheaper and simpler than laptop computers but give users the ability to create original text, graphics and audio and import encrypted electronic files from third-party providers, according to Eric Walusis, president of Dayton-based Searchlight eBook Training Inc.
