abstract:Tariq Modood (born 1952) is a British Pakistani Professor of Sociology, Politics and Public Policy at the University of Bristol (1997- ). Modood is the founding Director of the Centre for the Study of Ethnicity and Citizenship and one of the leading authorities on ethnic minorities in Britain.
TariqModood, who wrote much of the study, points out that 1% of Pakistanis who were married or cohabiting had a white partner, compared with 20% of Caribbean adults.
