Once the initial import is done I setup my Google account on my Droid so that it triggered an automatic synchronizationof calendar and contacts with Google.
It also has GPS for tracking your location, and fully supports over-the-air synchronizationof email, contacts and calendars -- through Microsoft Exchange in corporations or via a similar new consumer service from Apple called MobileMe.
