Objective: to probe into the application of PBL teaching combined with case teaching method in clinical probation of surgical nursing for higher vocational nursing students.

Methods: By using of the simulated teaching equipments of the clinical skills training center, the 394 interns were trained in physical examination, surgical basic skills, ECG and CPR skills.
