The Dow Jones Industrial Average hitting new all-time highs is good news for just about anybody who owns stocks, but the market in such rarefied air does produce nervous stock picking on the part of value-minded investors.
More sober-minded watchers, however, noted that on Wall Street, when an opening stock sticks close to where it started, it means it was probably priced correctly to begin with.
Thanks to the Internet, cause-minded leaders can readily build a movement that extends far beyond the steps of the New York Stock Exchange or Capitol Hill.
