abstract:Steven Mintz (born 1953), is Executive Director of the University of Texas System's new Institute for Transformational Learning and a professor of history at the University of Texas at Austin. He was previously an American historian at Columbia University, where he directed the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences Teaching Center.
