The research team is currently investigating a laser lift-off technology to facilitate the mass production of flexible LIBs and 3D stacking structures to enhance charge density of batteries.
Monsanto has good reason to charge more for such stacking: If stacked seeds perform poorly, Monsanto may be wrongly blamed and its own brand may be harmed since it is impossible to know the source of the malfunction once the traits are combined and the seeds are planted.
