abstract:The STABO (STAbilized BOdy) Acronym as per Army Training Manual TM 10-1670-262-12&P (1993) extraction harness was a device which allowed military personnel to be rescued (by helicopter) from field locations which prevented the conventional landing and boarding of a helicopter.
