Team owners would take an equity stake in the sanctioning body, share more of the national broadcast and sponsorship revenue and could borrow, as football and baseball team owners do, against that stake to invest in the drivers and technology that can make their teams better and the sportmoreexciting.
There is a deep understanding that the NASCAR fan of today, and more importantly of tomorrow, will be different and moreexciting for the sport and sponsors of the sport than any previous generation.
