Rosetta Stone shares are trading sharply higher Tuesday morning after the producer of language instructional software posted better-than-expected Q1 financial results.
And their decisions are, in most cases, straightforward: it is easy to tell whether one networking protocol or a piece of software works better than another.
The company was also told to give rivals more information about how Windows works, so they can make their own software integrate better with the operating system that runs some 90% of the world's computers.
