He came from the darkness, from the memories. When his eyes opened he shuddered from the loss of her presence. Frantic for just a moment, he finally saw it lying beside the fire, the lash still snug inside of the compartment, along with his daggers, set out in rows. With Moya stirring from sleep, standing off to the side near a large rock, he stood up. His hand covered the tattoo that was now apparent on his right shoulder.
