abstract:The Shapiro syndrome is a rare disorder consisting of paroxysmal hypothermia (due to hypothalamic dysfunction of thermoregulation), epilepsy, and agenesis of the corpus callosum with onset typically on adulthood. The disease affects about 20 people worldwide.
