Abstract : In this paper, the proceedings of the 10~(th) International Conference on Modeling of Casting, Welding and Advanced Solidification Processes (MCWASP) is introduced. The recent progress in numerical modeling of solidification is briefly reviewed on structure simulation, segregation & microporosity simulation, shaped casting simulation, database and critical experiments. Finally, the authors proposed their opinions about the development prospects and the emphasis of future researches in this field.
