The first group of teachers and the implementation team from Pikine were trained at a recent three-day workshop in Dakar, Senegal (29-31 October) in Nokia Mobile Mathematics, the technology used for the project.
Building upon ideas and experiences exchanged during the event, programmes on teacher development through mobile learning will be developed during 2012 in four focus countries: Mexico, Pakistan, Nigeria and Senegal.
