abstract:Sendero ('Path') was a Spanish-language newspaper in Paraguay, published by the Paraguayan Episcopal Conference (CEP). Initially it was a fortnightly and was later converted into a weekly newspaper.
This economic turbulence exacerbated social tensions in Peru and contributed in part to the escalation in violence of the terrorist groups: Shining Path (Sendero Luminoso) and Movimiento Revolucionario Tupac Amaru (MRTA).
