When tackling an issue as debilitating as mental illness and a service system that has historically been shrouded in stigma, secrecy and shame, it is all too easy to focus on the challenges.
"This kid suffered in secrecyand in silence andshame thinking he was the only one and never told a soul until the revelations came out about other kids and a coverup, " Mr. Anderson said.
