The Mini was launched a year ago as a scaled-down, blue version of Google's bright yellow Search Appliance--essentially a rack-mounted server that businesses could plug into their network infrastructure for searching up to 100, 000 shared files and Web pages.
With all this reliable power, no wonder the internet search giants like Google and Yahoo have for years built their biggest server farms in the Northwest.
