abstract:Rugeley is a historic market town in the county of Staffordshire, England. It lies on the north-eastern edge of Cannock Chase next to the River Trent, and is situated between the towns of Stafford, Cannock, Lichfield and Uttoxeter.
The second route, which will link Birmingham to stations in Crewe, Manchester and Manchester Airport, will affect parts of Staffordshire near to Lichfield, Rugeley, Stafford and Stone.
Lines affected include Birmingham-London, Birmingham-Liverpool, Birmingham-Coventry-Northampton, Lichfield-Birmingham-Redditch and Wolverhampton-Birmingham-Walsall-Rugeley.
