abstract:Roy Ascott (born October 26, 1934) is a British artist and theorist, who works with cybernetics and telematics on cybernetic art, and whose work focuses on the impact of digital and telecommunications networks on consciousness. He is President of the Planetary Collegium, and DeTao Master of Technoetic Arts in Beijing DeTao Masters Academy.
