Lucy Davis, 24, a radio soap actress, is set to make a full recovery after receiving a kidney from her mother, Hazel, at Birmingham's University Hospital.
Ford's effort is being supported by rap-inspired radio ads and, using an actress who's driving across the country with a production team in tow, 60 live TV commercials.
