One thing leads to another, and then you follow an arrow to complete your quest, farming first level monsters to gain second level, farming second level monsters to gain third level.
Many aspects of Puzzle and Dragons can be likened to systems found in the Puzzle Quest series , as players assemble an army of egg-hatched monsters that can be leveled and evolved to increase their stats and abilities.
After they set out on their quest, the pacing really picks up and we get a series of wonderful set pieces involving magic, witchcraft, monsters, and just one danger after another.
