abstract:Putney Bridge is a bridge crossing of the River Thames in west London, linking Putney on the south side with Fulham to the north. Putney Bridge tube station is located near the north side of the bridge.
The course began in Ham, Richmond, at 1430 BST on Saturday and spectators headed to Kew, Hammersmith, PutneyBridge, Westminster and Tower Bridge to cheer on competitors.
