By looking at the individual elements in any given backbend—such as examining the direction of movement of the shoulders, arms, torso, hips and legs—we can deconstruct the posture and aligning, strengthening and opening these individual regions to more refined by identifying particular areas of interest need in our students' bodies and focusing on these areas in class, I call this “progressive sequencing” and it is different from “pose/ counter pose ” sequencing.
