abstract:The Presto Card (stylized as PRESTO Card and formerly known as the GTA Farecard) is a contactless smart card fare payment system for public transit systems in Southern Ontario, including those in the metropolitan region of the Greater Toronto Area, the National Capital Region and the city of Hamilton. The system was trialled from June 25, 2007 to September 30, 2008.
