abstract:A police caution is a formal alternative to prosecution in minor cases, administered by the police and other law enforcement agencies in England and Wales, and in Hong Kong. It is commonly used to resolve cases where full prosecution is not seen as the most appropriate solution.
In 2010, she received a policecaution for assaulting her daughter outside a Poundstretcher in Hulme and the following year, the court heard, the child was taken away from her.
In the Cundick case, Surrey Police confirmed a 75-year-old man received a policecaution last year following an investigation into a report of an indecent assault which happened in the Woking area in the 1990s.
