abstract:Pigra is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 50 km north of Milan and about 15 km north of Como. Located at 881 m above sea level, with a panoramic view on Lake Como, the town is accessible by paved road from Argegno, winds along the Valle d'Intelvi and by cable railway, which in five minutes, exceeds the drop of 540 m, allowing access to the village directly from Argegno.
