In response to Monday's announcement from Microsoft, Google's global privacy counsel PeterFleischer offered a statement pointing out Google's decision in June to make user data anonymous after 18 months.
Instead, Google has a collection of individuals in charge of privacy, among them are Jane Horvath (Senior Privacy Counsel) and PeterFleischer (Global Privacy Counsel he blogs about it too).
"Google has recently confirmed that it still has in its possession a small portion of ... data collected by our Street View vehicles in the UK, " PeterFleischer, Google's global privacy counsel said in a letter published by the ICO.
