PBTCA（2-磷酸基-1，2，4-三羧酸丁烷）是上世纪八十年代发明的新一代膦羧酸，为目前比较领先的一种低磷缓蚀阻垢剂，现已广泛应用于工业生产。工业生产中以二烷基亚磷酸酯、顺丁烯二酸二烷酯，以及丙烯酸烷酯等为原料，在强碱性催化条件下，经一步连续反应合成的。其产率为87.7%;采用IR、31P-NMR、1H-NMR、13C-NMR等方法证实了合成产物的分子结构，并取得了理想的结果。
