I woke up to pure darkness. My eyes were open but I couldn't see a thing. I wanted to scream, I needed to see someone, her hopefully. To know she was okay. For what seemed like days, with my eyes open, I finally was able to see, a blurry, partially dark. I was looking to my right, and I saw the top of Claire's head, looking down at her lap. She held one of my hands. I gasped and gripped her hand, when a sharp pain hit one of my sides. Her head shot up and she stared at me.
