It was suggested that this pretreatment method for urine could be used to determine the oxalate in such urine samples, in which urine impurity existed.

The results showed that the numbers of calcium oxalate crystals, big crystals and crystallines in the urine of experimental group were less than those in the control group (P<0.01).

CONCLUSION the method is simple, sensitive and producible for quantifying oxalate in human urine and the research of formation of uric calcium oxalate stone.
