Whenever I come into the bathroom, which I do quite often in the course of a typical day, our ryukins wiggle those quadruple tails like Las Vegas dancers.
Each evening we had just enough to prepare fresh lobster tidbits as an appetizer before going out to dinner, and we had a feast of two or three broiled-and-buttered tails for each one of us on our last night.
As in life, the good and bad make us who we are and what Red Tails teaches us as Americans, is that even our ugly past of racism is part of what makes us great because, getting past racism by allowing the Tuskegee Airman to fly is what makes us proud.
