Just as she was about to pull the glass down a strong hand encompassed hers and she felt heat on her back as another hand tightened around her waist. Her breathing became uneasy, as his warmth enveloped her. "I don't want you to break anything, or hurt yourself." His deep voice penetrated through her whole body and his breath on the side of her face sent shivers down her spine. She quickly leaned back to jump off the counter. In one swift motion John placed the glass on the counter and now had both hands on her hips as he brought her down into him.
