I got off at Victoria, only to see that the distasteful snogging couple had also gotten off with me. Hooray! I began walking briskly towards the sign that said Circle Line, Northbound. The couple were right behind me, his arm around her waist. Now I could see his face, he looked high, or drunk, maybe both. She had dark circles under her eyes, and it looked like she hadn't slept for a while. She was only sixteen, seventeen, but he looked much older, around my age. If this was love, I didn't want it. My stoic ‘tube’ look was in place, you couldn't really afford to look anything but completely uninterested and blank. London is a dangerous place. The sign above my head that was automatically updated with the train schedule said I still had ten minutes to go. Hooray!
