We stopped to buy milk at an oldcottage and were invited in for freshly made yoghurt by a beautiful woman who has lived here for 35 years, birthing and raising 11 children.
The trust wanted to move the beds because it said the cottage hospitals were old buildings which were too cramped and had defective heating and drainage systems.
