- 摘机：在电话通信中，摘机和挂机是通信电路的两种状态。在用户电话上，这两种状态是通过将听筒放在或离开挂机开关上产生的。将电路置于摘机状态也称为占线。摘机最初是指电话机有一个独立的听筒（接收器），它悬挂在挂机开关上，直到用户通过拿起听筒来发起电话呼叫。摘机时，听筒的重量不再压低弹簧开关钩，从而将仪器连接到电话线路。
