MacKrell, president and chief executive of NYBDC, said the corporation has now recommended approval of the loan and expects the proceeds to be disbursed soon.
Mr. Snyder was initially denied the NYBDC loan because he couldn't show a profit, as Red Hook Winery had spent a great deal of money moving to its waterfront location.
