abstract:NORC is a street view website introduced in 2009 for Central and Eastern Europe. The site currently provides 360 degrees panoramas from various cities and locations in Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Russia, and Slovakia.
Dr. Wolniak and his team at NORC were commissioned by the Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans (HAA) in 2010 to advance the understanding of resilience among HAA Scholars and among at-risk youth generally.
With clients throughout the world, NORC collaborates with government agencies, foundations, education institutions, nonprofit organizations, and businesses to provide data and analysis that support informed decision making in key areas including health, education, crime, justice, energy, security and the environment.
