然而你大发怜悯，不全然灭绝他们，也不丢弃他们；
(for the LORD thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.
耶和华你神原是有怜悯的神。他总不撇下你，不灭绝你，也不忘记他起誓与你列祖所立的约。
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. (Deuteronomy31:6).
