abstract:Sir Nicholas Scheele (born 3 January 1944) is a former Chancellor of the University of Warwick (he announced his decision to step down from this post in July 2008) and formerly President and Chief Operating Officer of Ford Motor Company. Prior to being Chief Operating Officer for Ford, Scheele was responsible for European Operations and has also been Chief Executive of Jaguar, then a Ford subsidiary.
Analysts believe there is a growing rift between the president and chief operating officer, Sir NickScheele, and his likely successor, the executive vice president David Thursfield.
